Lexi has been an outstanding member of our family for a little over a year and a half now. She has mastered the art of every position in the front of house. On any given night she may be delivering you a pizza, suggesting one of our wonderful desserts as she serves your table or helping you with a pick-up order. She will be leaving us for a brief time to travel throughout Asia, and she will be greatly missed!

Ty Barker

North Phoenix Location

Ty is one of our quietest family members, but his impact is loud! We can always tell when Ty isn’t around. If you order one of our delicious salads, chances are Ty is the one responsible for preparing it. He is one of the most organized and timely people we have ever had the pleasure of working with, and we are thankful every day to have him on our team!

Tommy St. Clair

Central Phoenix Location (Front of the House)

Tommy has quickly won over our hearts and blown us away with his stellar guest service and willingness to do whatever it takes to be the best host he can be in his 3 short months with us. He is a student at Bioscience High School studying engineering, so this guy is going places! He’s always full of laughter and smiles. This is Tommy’s first job and he has already begun to impress us with his ability to deliver a perfect Spinato’s Experience!

Felipe Agudo

Central Phoenix Location (Heart of the House)

Felipe has been with us for just over 6 months and he is a huge asset in our Heart of House. He is an amazing saute cook, and takes pride is every single dish he creates. If there is no pasta to be made you will find him cleaning everything and anything in the kitchen. He always has a smile on his face and keeps everyone happy and upbeat. Felipe works 2 full time jobs but will never complain about being tired, he just comes in and kills it every day!

Jake Powers

Scottsdale Location

Jake started with us almost 2 years ago, working part-time while attending school. We are thrilled that he is now working with us full-time and has become such an integral part of our Heart of House team. Jake is rock solid on the pizza line and a great guy to boot.

Janet is, without a doubt, one of our greatest assets and a true MVP of our Ahwatukee family. She is kind, caring, and carries such a positive energy with her wherever she goes. If we are having a tough day, we always lean on Janet to make it a little brighter and fun. Janet is her name and the Spinato’s Experience is her game!

Adrian Delgado

Adrian can be quiet and very mysterious at times, but his creations in our kitchen just scream quality and commitment to excellence! KJ has been with our company for four years, and knows how to work every position in our kitchen – he even helped to open the new kitchen at our largest location, Central Phoenix! He is always on his toes, running around and getting everything done – and ALWAYS with a smile! During his time off, he loves to play disc golf and hang out with his puppy Kiba. We love you KJ, thanks for always being positive & productive!

Darin Shepherd

North Phoenix Location

Darin left his Midwest roots in Michigan to come to Phoenix, and we are so glad he made the move! Almost immediately, he became an integral part of our Spinato’s family. He is responsible for all of the fantastic pizzas at our Bell Rd. location and has quickly established himself as one of our hardest workers. Darin devotes himself wholeheartedly to the Spinato’s commitment to excellence.

Madison Roman

Central Phoenix Location (Front of the House)

Madison is a very familiar face around here – she has been with the company over 10 years and has literally done just about every position you can think of! Her extremely bubbly personality and commitment to excellence can be seen in everything she does. Whether she is running around the dining room taking care of tables or mixing up some signature cocktails behind the bar, she can be found here almost any day of the week. She has countless regulars that have followed her from store to store over the years, and they have become like family. We appreciate everything she does for us!

Anthony has only been a part of our Spinato’s Central Phoenix location for 3 months and has already made a huge impression on us! He comes in every shift eager to get work done. He is one of our all-star dish staff here, and his hard work and dedication has not gone unnoticed. Anthony will soon be training to work on the salad/sandwich station, and we look forward to enjoying one of the delicious sandwiches he will be making. Thank you for all you do!

Adam has only been with us on our pizza station for a few short months but he is tearing it up! He is very quick to learn, and is a constant example of positivity and teamwork. We know we can expect great things from Adam in the future, and we are fortunate to have him in our family!

Ian will celebrate one year with us in October! He has mastered all Front of House positions, and excels in all that he does. He takes great care of our guests and always serves up a smile with your food. Ian is a great role model to his coworkers, and is always creating great memories with staff and guests alike. Cody Rogers

Cody has been with us since March, and we have enjoyed watching him grow in his roles. He started out as a dishwasher, but now helps us in our prep area, rolling out pizza shell after pizza shell! Cody is very respectful, energetic, and always comes in to work with a smile on his face. We love his commitment to excellence and his pride in assuring our guests get the quality of food they deserve.

Juliette is a breath of fresh air every time you see her! She always has a great smile and the best laugh! You can hear her “smile” when she engages our guests on a phone order! Juliette is always quick to show her appreciation, and she always gives the Spinato’s Experience to her guests and her team. Juliette enjoys movies, especially comedies (hence her love of laughter!), and loves to strike up some competition in a friendly game of volleyball. We are so glad that Juliette is part of our family. She enhances our lives with her heartfelt enthusiasm. Thanks for always being there for us, your kindness and courtesy is second to none!

Kayci Riggs

North Phoenix Location

Kayci has been welcoming guests in the door with us for almost a year and a half, and we don’t know how we got along without her. She always is there to lend a hand and shows that she cares about each and every one she meets. Kayci is going to school for communications, but in her free time loves to go to the movies. If she answers the phone the next time you call for a pizza, congratulate her on a job well done!

Conan Zimmerman

Conan has been with the company for over 13 years now! He is the definition of commitment to excellence and he lives and breathes teamwork! Whether he’s serving, bartending, or managing the floor, Conan is here almost every day – but when he’s not, he’ll most likely be playing music with his band, at a concert, or getting down on some sushi with his girlfriend or friends. He always has the backs of anyone he’s working with, his regulars absolutely love him, and he truly is part of the family. I don’t know what we would do without your amazing attitude and stellar work ethic. We appreciate everything you do!

Carmen Martinez

Central Phoenix Location (Heart of the House)

Carmen started working on the pizza line 6 months ago, and quickly worked her way up to a full time family member that makes all of our daily prep items, sandwiches and, of course, is still making beautiful pizzas. It’s safe to say if you have ordered anything from our restaurant lately, Carmen has had a hand in making it! She comes to work every day with a smile on her face and will pick up any shift needed. Carmen has such a caring nature and has even “adopted” some of the younger team members while at work, offering to give others them a ride home, or stay late to make sure no one needs an extra hand. When she is not at work, she is at home with her kids helping them with school work – Carmen is always so selfless! We thank Carmen for all that she does and want to encourage her to continue to grow with us and develop our other family members.

Alex Costello

Scottsdale Location

Alex has been with us for a year and a half working in the heart of the house (kitchen). He is a daytime guy that has mastered prep, salads and sandwiches and due to his great work ethic, has just been promoted to being a lead in the kitchen for us. When he is not at work making it happen, he is an avid gamer! Congrats Alex, we are excited to see even more big things to come!

Seth Jastrab

Seth has been with our family for just over a year. He started off in our heart of the house rolling out pizza shells and getting saucy on our sauté line. Now you can find Seth in our front of the house, either mixing up signature cocktails or out on the floor delivering the “Spinato’s Experience.” Seth radiates positivity and is always willing to help out his team! With his caring nature, commitment to excellence, and desire to grow, we expect great things from this guy!

Tempe Location

Allison is truly one of a kind. She has been with our family for a little over a year and a half and we could not imagine a day without her bright, positive energy. Allison started off as a pizza cook but is slowly mastering every position from the kitchen to the front of the house. She really shows her commitment to excellence, integrity and teamwork throughout every one of her shifts. In her spare time Allison likes to play with her dog Casserole and go on all kinds of adventures.

Ryan

North Phoenix Location

This is Ryan, and he’s been our number one prep guy for nearly 6 months. You might have heard him singing opera from our kitchen in the wee hours of the morning and his laugh is contagious. Ryan is always looking for a way to get faster and better at his job, and his caring nature is obvious to all his family members. When he’s not working he’s climbing mountains, as Ryan loves anything to do with the outdoors or music. Ryan is soon moving back to Virginia to attend college for environmental science and he will be greatly missed!

Will

Central Phoenix Location (Front of the House)

Will has been a seasonal face with the company for a few years now, and even though he has to leave every August and January for school in Seattle, his rockstar hosting skills continue to impress. His presence is definitely missed when he’s away learning! He is majoring in theater, so he is always a beam of positive energy and has a great sense of humor that makes working with him a blast. When it’s slow, you might catch him practicing his dance moves or making conversation with guests and family members around the store. His commitment to excellence, positive attitude, and teamwork mentality is really what sets him apart from the rest and he truly is the host with the most!

Eric

Central Phoenix Location (Heart of the House)

Eric has been with Spinato’s for over 3 years. He started out on the pizza line in our 12th St. and Glendale location. When we made the move to 7th St., Eric moved with us, to prep, where he now makes all the pizza shells, cuts our mozzarella and receives all our fresh products. He is the first person you will see in the morning and he is always smiling. Eric keeps up a great relationship with all of our vendors and is helpful to all new staff if they need help finding anything. Eric’s timeliness is unlike anyone else – even our managers race to try to get in before Eric, and we usually lose! Eric is one of the biggest team players we have – he will never tell utter the words, “It’s not my job.” You can always find him lending a hand in the dish room or picking up a cleaning project. When Eric is not here, he enjoys watching sports and riding his bike around PHX.

Roni

Scottsdale Location

Veronica (AKA Roni) has been with us for almost three years now, and works right up front as a GSR. She is our strongest family member at the door and has been responsible for training all that come through. Her commitment to excellence is second to none, and she will start as a server next month where she will no doubt impress us as well. Roni recently went out to San Diego to go to Comic Con where she got to see some of her heroes – little does she know that she’s our own superhero!

Ray Amador

Ray has been with our family since 2013. He will always give you great service with a smile. He is very passionate about Spinato’s and his loyal guests. Ray has a great since of humor and always keeps us on our toes here. He likes computers and is a video gamer on his free time. He has even gone to Las Vegas for video competitions! Zach is a good ol’ boy from southern Ohio. He joined our crew about 5 months ago and has quickly become one of our strongest team members. Ernest has been with us for just over 3 months, but since day one we could tell there was something special about him. He is currently a student at Central High School and is working in our dish room. Ernest knocks it out of the park every shift – it doesn’t matter if it is a busy night, typical day or if we are short-staffed, he comes in and puts in 100%. When he is at home he enjoys watching the Cardinals and cooking, which is why he will soon be moving into the kitchen and learning to make our signature dishes! We are very excited to see what he can create and add to our already talented staff.

Madison Harper

Scottsdale Location

Madison, who was born and raised here in North Scottsdale, has been here with the Spinato’s family for almost 3 years now. She is a high-energy server and hostess that always delivers the Spinato’s Experience. Madison especially excels whenever we have a charity event or sales contest, we owe a lot of our charity contributions to her! Outside of work, Madison enjoys hanging out with her friends, spending time with her dog and going bowling with friends. What Madison loves most about working here at Spinato’s is the people she gets to work with and the guests she gets to serve. We truly value and appreciate Madison’s vast contributions to the Spinato’s family.

Nick Jones

Nick is new to our family, he started with us about 2 months ago. He works as a cashier taking phone calls, putting together your orders and cashing you out with a smile. If you ever need a good laugh or a random fact, he’s your guy!

Andrew Dorsey

North Phoenix Location

Andrew has been with us for a year this month! His commitment to excellence and his dedication to constantly improving himself and those around him have made him our certified trainer on pizza line. He is also proficient in every other station around the kitchen. Outside of work Andrew enjoys relaxing at the lake with his Bell Rd. family members and doing some fishing.

Nicholus Hinshaw

Although Nick has only been with us since July 17, 2016, he is the epitome of the type of family member we want on our team. Though exceptional guest service can be a difficult thing to train, we are lucky to have Nick because he already possesses the essential qualities of promptness, courtesy, enthusiasm, and an attitude of cooperation and professionalism.
Nick has been so successful in this role as a GSR that we will soon be cross training him as a delivery driver.

Does he look familiar? Well he should, Austin is a 2 time Employee of the Month winner in the past 6 months! Austin has been a driving force in the Central PHX HOH for over 3 years, he has mastered all the stations. Austin is training to become a Shift Supervisor while he is still going to school full time to become a Physical Therapist. If he can find the free time between work and school he enjoys being outdoors hiking the Grand Canyon, out on the lakes or just driving around with his friends. Austin work ethic is by far his greatest strength. He is our positivity bug in the whole store you can’t help but smile when you see him working his station.

Cody Newman

Cody is the Employee of the Month here at Spinato’s North Scottsdale for October as his contributions to our team are something that cannot be overlooked! Cody is one of our family members that can work at every single station in our kitchen! We have been blessed to have Cody as a part of our family for over 4 years now and value his vast contributions. In his free time Cody loves to listen to electronic music, hang out with friends, play video games and attend concerts. His bubbly personality is contagious throughout our restaurant and our family would not be the same without him. We truly appreciate everything Cody brings to the table for our family here in Scottsdale and look forward to growing with him in the future!

Camden Six is our Front of House Employee of the Month! Camden has been a part of our family for 3 months now and in that short time she has grown so much. 2016 Tony Awards

The Tony Award, named for the late Tony Spinato, is an award given to one member of each restaurant who best exemplifies what Grandpa Tony stood for. He was a quiet, humble, hardworking man who came to work each day with the goal of commitment and service to the team, without expecting any recognition. He did the dirty work without complaint, and always gave his best to the guests, even after his retirement. His grandson Anthony Spinato describes Tony as, “The guy that you didn’t always know when he was there, but you could always tell when he wasn’t.” In his memory, Spinato’s Pizzeria began giving out Tony Awards at the annual company Christmas party in 2004. The winners of this award are some of the most reliable, committed and modest members of our team. They work diligently, knowing the impact they have without needing to hear it, just as Tony Spinato did.

To the winners of this award: we salute you. You keep this company running the way Grandpa Tony would have wanted it.

Matt has grown so much with this company starting from a pizza cook at the Ahwatukee location to AKM at Tempe and the Central Phoenix location. After a brief hiatus, he is back and is an amazing pizza cook. Matt is committed to excellence in all aspects of his life and work. He always has a positive attitude and caring nature. Matt is one of our best trainers and cherished aspect of our kitchen. In his free time, he likes watching anime, writing entries for his blog, photography and hanging out with his beautiful girlfriend.

Zach Miller

Zach has been working at Spinato’s for quite a few months, and was doing a fantastic job providing exceptional service in the Front of house, then when we needed someone to step up and take some additional hours in the kitchen he was happy to oblige. Central Phoenix names Zach True as this month’s Employee of the month. Zach has been a part of our family since August of 2013, through the past 3 years he has been a stable in the HOH he is someone you can always count on. He works in our Prep department rolling out all the dough for every pizza that comes out of the HOH. Recently he himself has started to roll out of the HOH and into our FOH as a GSR with his bright big smile at the door to great every guest. Zach has been an even bigger part of the HOH as he has stepped up and shown his caring nature taking on extra shifts to help through the holidays. When Zach is not at work, his is still working hard with his heavy metal band where is plays guitar.

Taylor Keim

This is our employee of the month for January, Taylor Keim. Taylor has been with us for about a year and a half, she is an esp and a bartender. Taylor always comes in with a huge smile and a great attitude and loves it when we are busy, the busier the better. When Taylor is not here making it happen, she is very busy with school getting great grades.

Seth Jastrab

Seth Jastrab is January’s Employee of the Month! Seth has only been with the company for a short time but in that time has shown that he’s capable of anything!! He started in the HOH as a prep cook in order to work up to bar tending. He is now one of our top servers. His funny and charismatic personality makes for one of the finest Spinato’s Experience’s that we have to offer. On his days off he loves to take out the motorcycle to relieve some stress or just relax at home and play video games.

Jordan has been with us for almost 6 months now and has become a vital part of our guest service representative team. When Jordan is not dazzling our guests with her polite and charming personality you can find her on ASU campus studying for her construction management degree. Jordan is always positive and dependable and is going places in life!

Avery Sanowski

North Phoenix Location

Avery has been with us for just over a month and already she has become an important part of the Spinatos Family. You might find her answering phones for your delivery orders or greeting you at the door and showing you to your table. She is currently a sophomore in high school and in her spare time loves to dance (anything from hip hop to ballet). Avery is a Phoenix native and we are so lucky that she has decided to make Spinato’s her home.

Keiko Murakami has been in our family since November of 2013. With a heart of gold and a passion for all our guests you may see her serving you the next time you come in to dine with us. Carlos Canil

Central Phoenix Location (Heart of the House)

Carlos has been with us just over 6 months. He is always willing to help at any station, any day. The staff treats him as he is the little brother we all have ever wanted. He makes each day fun and enjoyable. Carlos works mainly on the pizza line but any given day you can see him rolling out the dough helping on dish or learning how to make sandwiches. While he is still in high school and considering college for engineering he still finds time to work and help out his parents with his 5 younger siblings!

This Nick Smith our employee of the month. Nick has been rockin’ pizza with us for about 8 months and has excelled at all aspects of making our pies. He is very dependable and a fan favorite with a great attitude. He has really stepped up his game lately and earned this first of probably many EOM titles. When Nick is off work and not busy attending school, you can find him at the bowling alley knocking them down or shooting hoops.

Congratulations Spencer Erjavic! Spencer started with us a few months ago, as a dishwasher and even though he was killing it back there, his friendly personality and knack for customer service made him a natural for the front of house. Now he’ll be the smiling face greeting you at the door and welcoming you into our home. Spencer shows his commitment to excellence every day by going above and beyond to serve our guests by doing whatever we need – washing dishes, bussing tables, hosting, he does it all!

This is Cody’s second time as Employee of the month. Cody has been here for almost a year. Cody was hired as dishwasher and now he is one of the best pizza cooks. Meet Sara! She has been a part of our family for over a year and a half and she has become a valuable part of the team. In her free time, she enjoys sleeping and playing video games, but she is going back to school for dance education.

This is our employee of the month Cabryn Peugh. Cabryn has been with us for 5 months now working on the pizza station, he picked it up quick and has been steady as a rock for us. He has moved around for us and is ready for some tougher challenges. When Cabryn is not pumping out pizza with us you can find him behind the drums for his band Black Swan. He has been a welcome addition and look forward to his bright future.

Our FOH EOM is going to be Camden Six. Camden has been with us about 6 months now and has quickly worked her way from hostess to cashier. Congrats our March EOM to Jack Barendrick. Jack has been part of the family for a year and three months. This is Jack’s second EOM!! Jack brings teamwork to our kitchen. Daniel Dartt is the employee of the month for April. In short Daniel is AMAZING to say the very least. He’s one of the most humble people that you will ever meet. She started off as a GSR taking phone orders but has become one our fabulous ESP ‘s taking care of tables from morning till night. Emma-Li has been with Spinato’s for a little over two years. She is always available to pick up shifts and help her family members out. Her guests love her as well! Her energy is contagious and she commits herself to having a positive attitude and giving the Spinato’s Experience. In her free time, Emma-Li loves to bake and sing loudly in her car. She loves to draw and painting pottery at “As You Wish”. Some of her favorite things to do are see action movies, dining out, and napping!

Our FOH EOM is Michael Danner! We have so many Mike’s here in Ahwatukee Spinato’s, you’ll probably never hear him called by his first name. Around here we know him as “Danner” and he is one of the best bartenders and servers that have been part of our family. Danner started with Spinato’s about 3 years ago at our Central Phoenix location and has done just about every Front of House position from cashier to manager. Danner is our in-house bar guru so if you want to know about wine or the fine art of bartending, he’s your man. I’d like you to meet our new sauté cook Chris. He comes to us with cooking experience, so our sauté menu was no problem for him to pick up immediately. Meet Kassie! She has been a member of the Spinato’s family for just over 10 months. She always has a smile on her face and is moving a mile a minute making sure all tables are clean and all guests are sat and happy. In Kassie’s spare time, she likes to stay busy by volunteering her time at various causes around the valley. She attends Paradise Valley Community college where she is studying Actuarial Science. Kassie’s favorite thing about working at Spinato’s is the family atmosphere, and she helps build that atmosphere every day.

Joseph Ross

Central Phoenix Location (Front of the House)

Joey Ross joined our team at Central Phoenix almost 1 year ago. He consistently does whatever is needed to take care of our guests, from setting up the patio in the morning to hopping on the pizza line. If you’ve come into pick up a lunch order to take back to the office, there’s a 98% chance that Joey offered to help you carry it out to your car, and a 100% chance that he was smiling. We wouldn’t be able to run our Pick-Up side without him and we hope he sticks around for years to come.

Brayan Chavez is one of the best dishwashers we’ve got at our Central Phoenix location. If the plates are piled high, he rolls up his sleeves and dives in, if we’re a bit slow on a Monday night, he’ll be the one polishing the stainless and making sure the dish machine is in top working order. He’s got some friends on the pizza line, so it won’t be long before he’s moving up and making dinner instead of cleaning up after it!

This is our employee of the month Gino Burleson. Gino has been with us for just over a year and works in dish, salad and sandwich. Gino has come a long way from his early days he is always looking to help everyone on the team and looking to better himself all the time. Our Employee of the Month for the HOH is Anthony Huerta. Anthony started off as a dishwasher and quickly moved into the kitchen. He has just about mastered every station in the kitchen. He can create the most beautiful salads, sauté a pasta to perfection, roll dough for pizzas, top all pizzas to Spinato’s specs and then pull and cut piping hot pizzas from the oven to serve to our guests. Anthony is very humble, dependable and has one of the most amazing attitudes that is infectious throughout the kitchen and the restaurant. We can’t thank him enough for all his hard work and dedication he has brought to our family.

Matt Reardon

North Phoenix Location

Meet Matt, he has been with us a little over 7 months now. We love having him as part of our family. He spends most of his time here delivering hot pizzas right to your door, but he also answers the phone and runs the register when he is in the restaurant. In Matt’s free time, he loves to play video games and is very excited about football season starting up. He has been saving up to buy his own house and someday would love to move into a management role. Matt’s favorite thing about Spinato’s is the pizza but the family atmosphere is a close second.

Tecoyit “Shea” Scales

Central Phoenix Location (Front of the House)

Tecoyit “Shea” is our Front of House Employee of the Month for September. He started delivery driving for the Central Phoenix location back in April, and has quickly become a key player on our team. This dude is always hustling, always helping, and always singing out loud when he thinks there’s no one around to hear him. Shea comes in every single day with a positive attitude and a smile on his face.

Magdalena Mejia

Magdalena (Malé) Mejia is this month’s Employee of the Month. Malé has been a part of the Spinato’s Family for over 10 years now. She usually starts her day around 3:00 AM to get her family prepared for their day and then comes and joins her other family here at Spinato’s. Her pizzas are always spot on and made to perfection every single time. Please help us congratulate her by enjoying the beautiful food she makes daily in our HOH (Heart of House).

Cooper Faucett

Ahwatukee Location (Front of the House)

Our FOH EOM this month is Cooper Faucett! Cooper has been with us 3 months now as a GSR and he is a rockstar up front! From day one he has been winning over our guests with his bright smile and friendly attitude. He is a junior in high school and even though this is his first job, you’d never guess by how professional and outgoing he is. When he’s not welcoming our guests into our restaurant, he might be busing your table or offering drinks to help our servers out when we’re busy. Cooper loves helping the team and does everything he can to make sure our guests feel welcome and taken care of.

Cody Rogers

Ahwatukee Location (Heart of the House)

Congratulations to Cody Rogers, this is the 3rd time that Cody is been award as EMO and all thanks to his hard work and contribution to the team. Each month before the company meeting, the managers get together and make nominations for their vote for the employee of the month and this month, the managers of Ahwatukee location, voted for Cody. Cody joined our team a year ago and has already mastered all kitchen levels. Cody is hard working, never complains, stays productive and helps his team members. Cody is now one of our strongest team member.

Tempe is proud to announce Eduardo “Lalo” Martinez as Employee of the Month. He has been with the company for 4 years now. Lalo is currently one of our Leads in the kitchen and is working towards management. When he is not working his second job, he like to go fishing. Lalo is a key player Monday thru Friday, he helps hold the kitchen together during our crazy morning business.

Adalen Applewhite

This is the one and only Addy! She has been a member of the Spinato’s family for over a year now, but it feels like she’s been with us forever. You might have talked to her on the phone placing a delivery order or seen her smiling face as you walked in for a pick up. She attends Metro Arts High School where she loves to do anything with art. After she’s done with school she would like to travel and see the world. In her spare time, she loves reading and spending time with her family. Addy’s favorite part about working at Spinato’s is the family atmosphere and helping our guests, which shows because she has a caring nature toward every person she meets.

Eric Bradford

Central Phoenix Spinato’s would like to congratulate Eric Bradford as our front of house employee of the month. Eric has been a part of our family October of 2015. Eric works in several different areas of our restaurant. Central Phoenix Spinato’s would like to congratulate Ernest Sanchez as our heart of house employee of the month. This is the second time that Ernest has won this award and deserves it. He has been a part of our family since July of 2016. We honestly never know where we will see him in the kitchen because he will help in every position in the kitchen. He shows commitment to excellence in every dish he creates for our guests. We can always count on Ernest to come in with such an amazing and friendly attitude. In his personal time, he loves spending time with his family and skateboarding. We truly appreciate all his hard work and dedication he displays every day.

Kassie has been with the company for a little over a year now and joined our Scottsdale family a few months ago. She is such an amazing part of our family with a contagious energy and work ethic that makes us all want to work harder. Her love of animals is obvious and her new dog, Thor, helps fill what little free time she has. She is going to school for Actuarial Science and volunteers with numerous organizations to make a difference in her community. Kassie truly does her best to enhance the lives of others every day. This month’s FOH EOM is Kenya Coburn! Kenya is one of our GSR’s and has been with us just over 2 months now. Her older sister also who also works here brought Kenya in and she has been an absolute star since day one. Kenya is in her junior year of high school and will soon be taking some time off for track season, but while she’s here we’re going to make sure she gets all the recognition she deserves! Not only is Kenya extremely smart and a quick learner, but she lives our playbook every day by being a bright positive energy around the store and even showed her commitment to community recently by volunteering for our “Feed the Hungry” event. Her warm smile and friendly demeanor always make our guests feel like family and we hope she’s around for the long haul.

Ben has been part of the team for a year and half. He started as Dishwasher and now he is working as a prep cook. He is the one who makes our beautiful pizza crust almost every day. Ben covers shifts, works on dish and prep as the restaurant needs. He always has a big smile, never complains, is a hard worker and very positive.

Tempe is proud to announce Espen as our Employee of the Month! He has been part of our family for a little over a year now. Chances are if you have ever ordered a delivery you have had the pleasure of meeting him. He is slowing making his way out on the floor by answering phones and helping cash guests out. When Espen is not at Spinatos or attending classes at ASU he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and pups.

Savannah Ryan

Savannah recently began training to become part of our management team at Bell rd. She works everywhere in the front of house on a regular basis. You can find her helping her fellow team members out with a big smile on her face. On top of being a fantastic team member she also became a mother this year and spends her time outside of work with her wonderful new family.

Joclyn has been with the company for close to two years now and has been a huge asset to our GSR team. She works super hard and gets along with her family members very well. Joclyn is a senior at Desert Mountain High School and is undecided about what she wants to after college, but we know whatever she decides she will be extremely successful.

Kris Schmid

Central Phoenix Location (Heart of the House)

Kris is a one-man cooking machine. He transferred to the Central Phoenix location a couple years back, and we couldn’t be happier that he did. Some afternoons, he might be the only guy back there, making the freshest salads, tossing a pasta to perfection, and cutting your pizza with laser-like precision. If you hear Weezer’s “Islands in the Sun” on repeat and someone singing along just a little off key, you’ll know Kris is on the clock.

Jake Powers

Jake has been with us for over 3 years now and not only rocks the Heart of House, but he has also moved into rocking the Front of House! He is an excellent team player and all of his family members love working with him. He is always willing to help out and makes us all smile every day. When not working you will find him in the gym, which makes him more than willing to drag heavy kegs around for us!

This month’s FOH EOM is Linda Frawley! Linda joined us about 4 months ago when she moved here from Illinois and has been a Rockstar since day one. She moved here with the family she nanny’s for as well as to go to school for nursing, so she is one busy girl! Linda always has a positive attitude and everyone she works with adores her. Her commitment to excellence and taking care of our guests is evident as she never stops working hard from the minute she clocks in until she’s done for the day.
